Summer Camps 2023
We’re humbled to be able to offer another year of summer camp here at Camp Ba Yo Ca and we look forward to a summer of outdoor adventure with your kids! We’re confident that they will have the opportunity to experience a life-changing week that can impact them for the rest of their lives! Take a look at our Camp dates below and see which camp is best fit for your child!
Traditional Camps - $350
Our traditional camps have revolved around a gospel-centered message packed into a week of outdoor adventure for over 60 years. Our program is always evolving, but traditional campers experience their choice of camp activities during the day like sports, hiking, canoeing, and then gather for events in the evening like Frontier Adventure. Our counselors and staff walk alongside our campers all week guiding them toward Jesus through spiritual gatherings like Chapel in the Woods after breakfast and Worship each evening.
This year, we are so excited to offer co-ed traditional camps for the first time! We know that many families would prefer all their children attend camp at the same time, so co-ed camps give families that opportunity. Also, we have increased the amount of discount given to multi-child registrations to ease the burden on larger families. This is also a great opportunity for church or community groups to all attend at one time. Whoever you are, whatever your circumstance, co-ed camps are for your child!

Traditional Camps - $350

Specialty Camps
While we believe in the goals and potential of our Traditional Camp experience for children aged 7-17, our specialty camps are designed for parents who have specific goals for their children. For parents who may be apprehensive about their child venturing away from home for an entire week we've built Little Rascals Camp. For parents looking for a leadership building opportunity for their older female child we've built the 2-week Camp Summit. Each specialty camp is designed with these considerations in mind while the individual development of our campers is the focus.
Little Rascals Camp– June 5-7 - $225
An introduction to the summer camp experience for kids aged 6-9
who may be new to over night stays away from their parents. We’ve smashed all the fun of our traditional camp weeks into a 3-day,
2-night camp that focuses on activities that younger kids love
such as Critter Hunt and pool games! The perfect launchpad for
your child to fall in love with the great outdoors while maturing
in their independent skills.
Man Camp – June 26-30- $350
An outdoor focused week of summer camp for boys age 12-17 seeking a closer connection to nature. These campers will grow in fellowship with a group of young men through building fires, constructing temporary shelters, developing survival skills, and more. We want boys to have a Christ-centered experience where they can embrace their transition from boyhood into manhood.
Camp Summit – July 17-26 - $650
A 2-week summer camp experience focused on discipling young women, ages 12-17, into a strong relationship with Jesus through service and leadership development. These young women will enjoy a week of specialized summer camp focused on their spiritual maturity, followed by a week full of Christian service opportunities both with camp and in the surrounding area of East Tennessee.
Special Operations Camp – June 5-9 - $350
A week of summer camp where boys, age 12-17, will work together to accomplish secret missions all around camp. Missions will foster teamwork, creativity, cunning and resourcefulness in these young men as we work together to pursue both successful results and Jesus! Our goal for them this week is for them to receive and accept a mission that definitely won't self-destruct in 5 seconds!
Youth Traverse – June 19-23 - $350
Camp Ba Yo Ca’s co-ed camp for students entering into sixth grade to just graduated eighth grade. These students will embark on a week of adventure revolving around our special activities designed for older kids including battling in paintball, high-flying launches from The Blob, low ropes course, and more! As students progress through middle school and high school, they will form their personality and lay the foundation of who they will be as adults in the world. During Youth Traverse we want to give our campers the opportunity to root their identities in Christ during this transformative time of their lives.
