During our Midwinter Retreat for our summer camp  counselors and staff, Alan Snyder outlined 10 areas the a student can be seeking after Jesus in their day-to-day.  


  1. Spend Quality Time with Jesus ("Be still and know that I am God" - Psalm 46:10)
  2. Pray for at least one person (and let them know you are praying for them)
  3. Eat lunch with a non-believer at least once a week 
  4. Go to church and participate in the Body of Christ
  5. Give financially to the church
  6. Make good grades / Be successful in your job ("Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters" - Col. 3:23)
  7. Love one another
  8. Spend time with your family
  9. Support a missionary/ministry (financially, prayerfully, & with your time)
  10. Have a prayer partner ("As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." - Proverbs 27:17)
