During the next few weeks, we are hosting a T-shirt fundraiser to raise funds for a much needed, new basketball court! After a considerable amount of prayer and discussion, it became clear that we are due for an upgrade! Camp Ba Yo Ca's current basketball court is cracked to pieces and is eroding away with each use. The boundary lines faded away years ago, the goals are broken, rusted, and outdated and the hoop nets are torn or missing.
If you are hearing about our renovation plans for the first time let us fill you in on the details! Our intent with a new basketball court goes far beyond it's physical appearance! The new basketball court we are envisioning will not only be larger, but it will be transformed into a multi-purpose facility. To help fend off the heat of the summer and the freeze of the winter we plan to install a sealed roof overhead and new rollup doors along brand new walls. Additional to the new air ventilation, sound systems, lighting and doors, we also plan to install new goals and storage areas for all our recreational and sporting equipment!
It doesn't stop at basketball though, with our new facility, we will be gaining another place for camp events to take place of all kinds (i.e. another worship area, a place to preform the Indian Drama on rainy nights, etc). In hopes to help aid the funding process of this exciting renovation, we are hosting the following T-shirt fundraiser during the month of November! We are extremely excited and hope you are too!
